National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, said President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term in office to consolidate the economic reforms and infrastructure development initiatives launched by his administration.
Speaking at an APC gathering, Yilwatda emphasized that the continuity of Tinubu’s policies is essential for the momentum gained in areas such as fiscal stabilization, investment promotion and large‑scale infrastructure projects across Nigeria.
The APC chairman noted that the reforms, introduced since Tinubu took office in May 2023, have begun to address long‑standing challenges in the country’s economy, including inflation, foreign exchange scarcity and deteriorating road and rail networks.
Yilwatda added that a second term would allow the government to build on the groundwork already laid, ensuring that projects initiated under the current administration reach completion and deliver lasting benefits to Nigerians.
He concluded by urging party members and the electorate to consider the importance of policy continuity when evaluating the upcoming presidential election.
