NACCIMA, the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, has called on Chinese investors to broaden their business footprint in Nigeria, pointing to a range of growth opportunities across the country’s energy, agriculture and other key sectors.
In a statement released by the association, NACCIMA urged Chinese firms to tap into Nigeria’s expanding markets and to deepen partnerships with local businesses. The organisation highlighted the country’s abundant natural resources and its growing demand for energy infrastructure and agricultural inputs.
“Nigeria offers a wealth of investment prospects, especially in energy and agriculture,” the statement said. “Chinese investors can play a pivotal role in driving development and creating jobs across these sectors.”
With Nigeria being Africa’s largest economy, the call comes at a time when the country is seeking to diversify its industrial base and attract foreign capital to support its development agenda.
While the statement did not detail specific projects, it underscored the need for increased collaboration between Chinese companies and Nigerian stakeholders to unlock the full potential of the country’s economic growth.
