Indonesia’s President has expressed confidence that the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia will exceed its $17.5 billion transaction target, citing the $13.2 billion already secured in memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the event.
The trade expo, held in Jakarta, aims to boost bilateral and multilateral trade ties across the region. The President’s remarks come as the country looks to attract foreign investment and expand its export markets.
So far, the MoUs cover a range of sectors, including manufacturing, technology, and agriculture, reflecting Indonesia’s strategy to diversify its economic partnerships.
Industry observers note that the expo’s performance could set a new benchmark for Indonesia’s trade ambitions in the coming years.
