In a statement, the APC said the alleged unpaid salaries constitute a serious breach of responsibility and urged voters to turn away from the ADC in the upcoming election.
The ADC responded by demanding that the APC provide proof of the accusations. Party officials dismissed the claim as a “distraction” aimed at undermining the ADC’s campaign.
Atiku Abubakar, who is contesting the presidency under the ADC banner, has not publicly addressed the APC’s allegation, and no evidence of unpaid staff wages has been presented by either side.
