Youths Defy Rain, Participate in Clean-up Exercise in Cross River Streets and Markets
Over 1,000 youths in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State, have shown determination and commitment by braving the downpour to engage in a clean-up exercise in three different locations, despite the rainfall.

Speaking to PunchNG, one of the participants, Mr. John Oye, expressed his motivation for joining the clean-up exercise:
"We are doing this to show our love for our city and to contribute to the improvement of our environment. Despite the rain, we are determined to make Cross River a cleaner and better place to live in."
The clean-up exercise involved the removal of litter, waste materials, and debris from major streets, markets, and public places in the city.
