The Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on Friday, with the winner to be revealed live during the ceremony in Oslo.
The award, presented annually by the Norwegian Nobel Committee, recognises individuals or organisations that have made significant contributions to peace.
In 2026, the committee will announce the recipient during its customary Friday evening event at the Norwegian Nobel Institute.
Historically, the announcement has been followed by a formal award ceremony on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death.
Viewers can watch the live broadcast of the announcement and the subsequent presentation of the medal and prize money.
