President Bola Tinubu was seen dancing to his party’s viral campaign anthem, “On Your Mandate,” during an All Progressives Congress rally in Akwa Ibom State on Friday.
The footage, which has already circulated widely online, shows Tinubu moving in time with the upbeat track as supporters cheered in the background. The anthem, released by the APC as part of its election campaign, has become a popular rallying cry across the country.
The rally, held in the southeastern state of Akwa Ibom, was part of the party’s broader outreach efforts ahead of the upcoming national elections. Attendees, many of whom were local party members, joined in singing the song and supporting the president’s message of renewal.
Akwa Ibom, one of Nigeria’s 36 states, has been a key battleground for the APC in recent political contests. The president’s appearance was intended to energise the party’s base and showcase the leadership’s commitment to the campaign’s themes.
Video of the event was shared by the Punch news service and has since been viewed by thousands of viewers across social media platforms.
