Victor Osimhen praised Galatasaray midfielder Aleksey Batrakov after the club’s 3‑1 victory over Kasımpaşa in the Turkish Super Lig on Friday.
“Batrakov is an incredible player. He reads the game before the ball even comes to him,” Osimhen said in a post‑match interview quoted by Sami Yen Gündem.
The 21‑year‑old Russian, who joined Galatasaray from Lokomotiv Moscow this year, impressed teammates from the outset. Osimhen added that “everyone was shocked during his first training session.”
Batrakov will look to make his mark when Galatasaray host Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, hoping to feature in the club’s next European fixture.
The win over Kasımpaşa bolstered Galatasaray’s position in the league, while the focus now shifts to the upcoming Champions League clash and the role Batrakov may play in it.
