Trump made the request in a public call for a DOJ probe, saying that Democrats have been targeting Republicans with intimidation tactics.
He urged the Justice Department to examine any evidence of such threats and to take appropriate action if wrongdoing is found.
Representative Slotkin, a Democrat from Michigan, has served in the House of Representatives since 2019 and is known for her work on national security and health‑care issues.
