Niger Tornadoes kept their unbeaten streak alive in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) by holding Barau FC to a 0-0 draw in Minna on Friday, extending the run to five matches without a loss.
The goalless stalemate was played at the Minna stadium, where both sides created chances but failed to find the net, leaving the points shared between the two clubs.
With the draw, Niger Tornadoes have now gone five consecutive league games without defeat, a run that highlights their consistency in a tightly contested season.
Barau FC, also a NPFL side, secured a valuable point from the encounter, keeping their own campaign on track while testing the resilience of the Tornadoes.
Both clubs will look to build on the result in their upcoming fixtures as the league progresses toward its climax.
