Former Zamfara State governor Abdulaziz Yari said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance record and campaign activities will secure the incumbent’s re‑election when he contests the 2027 Nigerian presidential election.
Yari, who led Zamfara from 2019 to 2023, made the observation in a recent statement, emphasizing that Tinubu’s first‑term achievements are a key factor in his confidence about the upcoming vote.
The former governor pointed to the president’s “performance record,” suggesting that policies and initiatives undertaken since Tinubu assumed office in May 2023 have bolstered his political standing.
He also highlighted Tinubu’s extensive campaign efforts across the country, noting that the president’s outreach and mobilisation will further consolidate support ahead of the 2027 poll.
