In a speech delivered in Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu called on Almighty Allah to turn Nigeria’s rich diversity into a catalyst for prosperity, unity, peace and sustainable development that would benefit all Nigerians.
Addressing a gathering of officials and members of the Nigerian delegation, Tinubu highlighted the country’s cultural and ethnic mosaic as a source of strength rather than division. He urged that this diversity be harnessed to drive economic growth and social cohesion across the nation.
“Nigeria’s many peoples, languages and traditions are a recipe for prosperity,” the president said, emphasizing that unity and peace are essential for long‑term development. He appealed for continued cooperation among all ethnic groups to achieve these goals.
While the statement was made in the capital, it came ahead of the delegation’s upcoming visit to Makkah, underscoring the importance of faith and solidarity in the country’s progress.
President Tinubu’s remarks reflect a broader national agenda that seeks to transform cultural plurality into a unifying force for sustainable growth and national development.
