Senator Adams Oshiomhole defended President Bola Tinubu’s decision not to attend every campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC), arguing that the president must prioritise governance.
Speaking in Lagos, Oshiomhole said that while the APC is preparing for the upcoming general elections, Tinubu’s focus should remain on running the country rather than attending every rally.
“Tinubu need not attend every APC rally,” Oshiomhole said, adding that the president’s time is better spent on governance.
Oshiomhole’s comments come as the APC continues to mobilise supporters across the country, with rallies being a key part of the party’s campaign strategy.
He added that the president’s leadership is essential for maintaining stability and delivering on the party’s promises, and that his presence at every rally is not necessary for the party’s success.
