TCN Announces Maintenance on Gwarinpa-Suleja Line
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has revealed plans to conduct its annual preventive maintenance on the Gwarinpa-Suleja 132/33 kilovolt (kV) Line 2 bay switchgears and associated equipment.
In a statement released on its X handle in Abuja, the company stated that the maintenance exercise will take place on September 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
As a result of the maintenance, customers in Suleja Township, FCT College of Education, Field Base, Zuba, and Sabon Wuse and their environs will experience a 20-minute interruption of power supply.
According to TCN, the interruption is necessary to enable the company to facilitate the load-transportation from the Gwarinpa-Suleja Line 2 to the Kubwa-Suleja Line 1, ensuring a smooth operation during the maintenance period.
TCN apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause the consumers in the affected areas.
