Speaking to the media, Macdonald emphasized the importance of keeping a positive attitude and focusing on growth opportunities.
"I've had my fair share of ups and downs in my playing career," said Macdonald. "I understand the pressure and the emotions involved, and I want my players to know that I'm here to support them."
Darnold, who was drafted by the Seahawks in 2018, has shown glimpses of promise but has also faced criticism due to his interception-prone performances.
"I know I've made mistakes, but I'm learning from them," said Darnold. "I trust my coaches and the team's support will help me become a better quarterback."
The Seahawks are currently 3-4 in the season, and fans and analysts have been eagerly awaiting a turnaround in the team's performance.
"We have a talented roster, and I believe in our potential," said Macdonald. "Sam is a young quarterback, and we'll continue to work on his skills and team cohesion."
The Seahawks face a challenging matchup against the undefeated Rams next week, presenting an opportunity for Darnold and the team to demonstrate their growth and resilience.
"We've faced adversity before, and we've come out stronger on the other side," said Darnold. "I'm confident in my abilities and the support of my teammates."
Seattle Seahawks fans will be watching closely to see if the team can bounce back and secure a win against the Rams, while Darnold and the coaching staff will continue to work with the quarterback to improve his performance.
