Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for Al‑Nassr in a 3‑0 win over Diriyah, his first match since the Portuguese side’s walk‑out.
The Saudi club secured a comfortable victory, with Ronaldo’s early goal setting the tone for a dominant performance that saw the visitors unable to find the back of the net.
The match marked Ronaldo’s return to the pitch after a brief absence following the Portugal walk‑out, a move that had left fans and pundits alike eager to see the star back in action.
Al‑Nassr’s win adds another positive result to their campaign in the Saudi Pro League, while Diriyah will look to regroup after the defeat.
Al‑Nassr, based in Riyadh, competes in Saudi Arabia’s top-flight football league and has been bolstered by the presence of several high‑profile international players.
