The New England Patriots pulled off a 29‑26 upset over the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, with quarterback Drake Maye delivering a clutch performance that snapped his early‑season slump.
Maye, who had struggled in the first part of the season, stepped up in the fourth quarter to lead the Patriots to a narrow victory over the Bills, the defending AFC champions.
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel praised the win as a critical moment for the team, noting that the result could help keep the franchise back in the race for the league’s top spot.
The victory was the Patriots’ first win of the season against a top‑tier opponent and marked a turning point for a team looking to regain its footing after a rocky start.
With the win, New England improves its record against Buffalo and moves closer to re‑establishing itself as a contender in the AFC.
