Uneeb Ullah, 28, has been charged with the murder of his three-month-old son in Queensland, Australia. The man, who resides in Logan, was arrested on Tuesday evening and has been remanded in custody following the death of the infant.
The child, who was from the Ipswich area west of Brisbane, died in hospital this week. According to reports, the boy had been placed on life support after being admitted to the medical facility.
Authorities indicated that the infant was taken to the hospital with “significant internal injuries.” The child passed away almost a week after his admission, leading to the subsequent criminal charges against his father.
Ullah’s arrest occurred on Tuesday evening, marking the formal escalation of the case to a murder charge. He remains in police custody while the legal proceedings move forward.
