Qatar has unveiled a countdown clock signaling that fewer than 300 days remain until the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup, the international tournament organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
The clock, placed in a prominent public location, displays the remaining days, hours and minutes until the opening of the competition, providing a visual reminder of the approaching event for residents and visitors alike.
The 2027 World Cup will bring together national basketball teams from around the globe to compete in Qatar, marking another major sporting milestone for the Gulf nation.

The unveiling of the countdown clock underscores the country’s ongoing preparations and the growing anticipation among fans and officials as the tournament draws nearer.
