The command's Public Relations Officer, DSP John Harp, stated, "We wish to remind the public that any form of assault or obstruction of police officers on lawful duty is a criminal offence, punishable under the law."
According to Harp, the police will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or groups found culpable of such acts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence between the police and the public.
The statement further urged the public to report any suspicious activities to the police, emphasizing the vital role citizens play in ensuring law and order in their communities.
