The Kebbi State Police Command has secured the conviction of 19 individuals on charges of terrorism, illegal firearms possession and vandalism of national infrastructure.
The convictions were the outcome of a coordinated operation by the state police aimed at dismantling suspected extremist networks operating within the region.
All 19 defendants were found guilty of possessing firearms without proper licensing and of engaging in acts that damaged government property, including roads and public facilities.
