Osun philanthropist Ibraheem Luqman has announced that he will fund scholarships for the children of the late gospel singer Toluwanisings and provide a house for the singer’s father, Muniru Adekunle Olayemi, in Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria.

The scholarships are intended to support the education of Toluwanisings’ children, although the exact number of beneficiaries and the level of financial assistance have not been disclosed.

In addition to the educational aid, Luqman is arranging for a residential property to be built for Muniru Adekunle Olayemi in the same town, ensuring the family has secure housing.

Toluwanisings, a well‑known gospel vocalist, passed away earlier this year, leaving behind a family that now receives this charitable support. His music had a strong following in southwestern Nigeria.

Philanthropic gestures such as Luqman’s are common in Osun, a state in Nigeria’s southwest known for its vibrant cultural and religious communities, where private individuals often step in to assist families in need.
