Oregon State University freshman wide receiver Jesse Legree has confirmed that he will return to the Beavers for the 2027 season, the player told ESPN in a recent interview.
Legree emerged as one of college football’s breakout stars during the 2026 campaign, drawing national attention for his playmaking ability and quickly becoming a focal point of the Beavers’ passing attack.
In the interview, Legree said he had re‑signed with Oregon State, opting to continue his development with the program rather than explore other opportunities. No specific contract details were disclosed.
The decision adds a key piece to Oregon State’s roster as the team prepares for the upcoming season. Retaining a high‑impact freshman like Legree is seen as a boost for the Beavers, who aim to improve on their recent performance in the Pac‑12 conference.
With Legree slated to be a senior leader in 2027, expectations are high that his continued presence will help elevate Oregon State’s offense and keep the program competitive in the national landscape.
