Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has said that he has no personal rift with former governor Peter Obi, describing their relationship as cordial despite their political disagreements.
In a statement to the Punch, Soludo emphasised that the two leaders maintain a friendly rapport, even though they have not always agreed on policy matters.
Soludo’s remarks suggest that personal relationships between politicians can remain intact even when their political views diverge.
Anambra State, situated in southeastern Nigeria, is one of the country’s 36 states and has a population of over 5 million people.
The governor’s comments were welcomed by observers who noted that maintaining constructive dialogue is important for the state’s political stability.
