Plateau United goalkeeper Okiemute Odah said he is confident the Peace Boys will continue to perform well in the current Nigeria Premier Football League season after a strong start of four wins, two draws and two defeats in their first eight matches.
The club’s latest triumph came with a 4‑0 victory over Kano Pillars at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday, a result that has helped the team maintain a solid position in the league table.
Odah, who has kept three clean sheets for the Jos‑based side this season, thanked his teammates and the coaching staff for their collective effort. “I want to thank my teammates and the coaches because it’s a collective game, the result against Kano Pillars is good for us and if we continue like this we will do more better,” he told Plateau United media.
“I want to urge the fans to support us that we can do it and we will make them proud.”
With a positive start and a decisive win over a top‑flight opponent, Odah believes the team’s confidence will carry them through the remainder of the campaign.
