The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a 34‑year‑old South African woman, Qhina Beauty, at the departure hall of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State, on 7 October 2026.
Beauty was found in possession of 36.65 kilogrammes of cocaine, according to NDLEA officials. The drugs were seized as she was preparing to board a flight back to South Africa.
NDLEA operatives conducted a search of Beauty’s belongings, uncovering the illicit substance. The agency confirmed that the arrest took place during routine security checks at the airport’s departure area.
