NCDMB and Renaissance have launched a 12‑month training programme in Osogbo, Osun State, designed to equip 60 Nigerians with critical oil and gas technical skills.
The course will be conducted at Nigeria Machine Tools Limited, a facility known for its engineering expertise. Over the course of a year, trainees will receive specialised instruction in oil and gas engineering, as well as other essential technical disciplines.
By focusing on hands‑on training and industry‑relevant curriculum, the programme aims to produce a new generation of professionals ready to meet the demands of Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
Participants will gain practical knowledge that can be applied directly to the industry, helping to address the skills gap that has long challenged the sector.
The initiative reflects a broader effort to strengthen Nigeria’s technical workforce and support the country’s position as a leading oil producer in Africa.
