The National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has ordered Air Peace to compensate passengers who were affected by a delayed flight from Lagos to Enugu.
The airline’s Lagos‑Enugu service was delayed, and passengers received an incorrect notification about the flight’s status.
In a preliminary investigation, the NCAA found that the notification sent to travellers was wrong, even though the flight had already been rescheduled.
As a result, the regulator has directed Air Peace to provide compensation to those passengers who were inconvenienced by the delay and the misinformation.
Air Peace is one of Nigeria’s major carriers, while the NCAA is the country’s civil aviation regulator. Lagos is the nation’s largest city, and Enugu is a key city in southeastern Nigeria.
