Nasarawa State @30: Jega, Kukah to Headline Anniversary Lectures
Nasarawa State is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary since its creation from the old Plateau State in 1996. Anniversary Activities in Nasarawa State
- The anniversary programme will commence on Friday, September 25, with Juma'at prayers.
- On Saturday, September 26, members of the executive and legislative arms of government, along with other stakeholders, will take part in a joint novelty football match.
- The keynote address by Prof. Jega is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, while Bishop Kukah's lecture will be delivered on Monday, September 28.
- The grand finale will be a thanksgiving service on Tuesday, September 29.
Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr. Umaru Alhaji, confirmed that the anniversary activities will be held in Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State.
