MTN Nigeria’s profit after tax for the nine months ended 30 September 2026 rose 55.3 % to N1.17 trillion, the company said in its latest financial release.
The jump in earnings was attributed to higher revenue, according to the operator’s statement.
MTN Nigeria had posted lower profits in the preceding period, so the latest figure represents a turnaround for the telecom group.
MTN Nigeria is one of the country’s largest mobile network operators, and Nigeria is Africa’s most populous nation.
The company did not provide further detail on the specific revenue drivers or operating costs behind the increase.
