Yvan Dibango will continue to wait before he can hope to rejoin the Lions Indomptables, the national team of Cameroon, according to the team's coach. Despite the player's recognized qualities and his current form, which the coach is closely monitoring, he is not currently in the immediate plans for the squad.
The head coach of the Lions Indomptables, David Pagou, addressed the situation in a recent statement. While acknowledging Dibango's talent, Pagou indicated that the forward must still exercise patience regarding his international career.
The decision reflects the coach's ongoing assessment of the player's performance. Pagou stated that he is keeping a close eye on Dibango's contributions, suggesting that future selection remains a possibility contingent on continued strong displays.
For now, however, the door to the national team remains closed for the striker. The coaching staff has chosen to prioritize other options for the upcoming period, leaving Dibango on the outside looking in.
This temporary exclusion underscores the competitive nature of the squad and the high standards required for selection in the Lions Indomptables.
