Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo dismissed rumours that President Bola Tinubu’s address at the All‑Progressive Congress (APC) campaign council inauguration had been pre‑recorded, insisting the speech was delivered live.
The comment came after a social‑media post circulated claiming that Tinubu’s remarks were not spoken in real time but were instead a pre‑recorded video played at the event.
Keyamo refuted the allegation, stating that the speech was broadcast live and that the media coverage at the venue confirmed its authenticity.
Keyamo, who has served as Nigeria’s aviation minister since 2023, said the claim was “unfounded” and that the live nature of the address was evident to all attendees and viewers.
President Tinubu’s inauguration of the APC campaign council was held in Lagos earlier this week, marking a key moment for the ruling party ahead of the upcoming elections.
