Since its inception, IXPN has served as a critical hub for routing internet traffic within Nigeria, helping to reduce latency and improve the overall quality of online services for businesses and consumers alike.
The anniversary celebrations featured a series of workshops and training sessions designed to equip the next generation of network engineers and administrators with the skills needed to maintain and expand the country’s digital infrastructure.
In addition to talent development, the programme highlighted initiatives to bolster internet resilience, ensuring that Nigeria’s connectivity remains robust against outages, cyber threats, and other disruptions.
As Africa’s most populous country, Nigeria’s investment in resilient and skilled internet infrastructure is essential for supporting its growing digital economy and for connecting millions of users across the region.
