Iran has denied Saudi Arabia’s accusations that it encouraged recent Houthi attacks against the kingdom, including strikes on oil facilities and an airport.
Saudi officials have alleged that Iran has played a role in supporting the Houthi movement, which has carried out a series of attacks on critical infrastructure in the Gulf region.
In response, Iranian representatives have rejected the claim, stating that the country has no involvement in the Houthi attacks.
The Houthi attacks, which target oil facilities and an airport, are part of the ongoing conflict in Yemen, where the group has been active for several years.
No further details have been released by either side regarding the alleged encouragement or any potential diplomatic fallout.
