Motherwell, who were widely regarded as the best team north or south of the border last season, have suffered a shocking run of six consecutive defeats. The Scottish Premiership side’s recent form has raised significant questions about what is going wrong at Fir Park, prompting a detailed analysis by BBC Scotland.
The club’s current plight stands in stark contrast to their previous campaign, where they were considered the standout performers in the league. However, the momentum from that success has completely evaporated, leaving the team struggling to find consistency or a winning formula.
Analysts are now scrutinizing the factors behind this downturn to identify why the team is not clicking. The investigation into the squad's performance aims to uncover the specific tactical or structural issues contributing to the string of losses.
As the season progresses, the pressure on the management and players to reverse this trend is mounting. The gap between their previous status as league leaders and their current position in the table highlights the volatility of professional football.
Supporters and pundits alike are watching closely to see if Motherwell can break their losing streak and recapture the form that defined their last season.
