The Global Citizen Festival scheduled to take place in New York has been cancelled after organisers cited an extreme weather forecast.
The decision comes amid concerns over a potential nor’easter that is expected to sweep the East Coast, prompting a series of event cancellations across the region.
In addition to the New York festival, Ed Sheeran’s concerts in Massachusetts were called off, and Queens’ All Things Go festival was also cancelled.
All three events were cancelled to ensure the safety of attendees and staff in the face of the looming storm.
