Team Europe captain Luke Donald has vowed that his squad will approach next year's Ryder Cup with "zero complacency" as they prepare to defend their title against Team USA.
Donald made the statement while outlining his strategy for the upcoming contest, which is scheduled to take place at Adare Manor. His comments come as he seeks to lead his team to a historic achievement in the biennial golf competition.
The primary objective for the European side is to secure a third consecutive victory, a feat that would cement their dominance in the event's recent history. Donald emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards and focus throughout the preparation period to ensure the team is ready for the challenge.
While the source material focuses on Donald's determination, the rivalry between the two teams remains a central element of the Ryder Cup, with both sides aiming to claim the prestigious trophy.
