LeBron James took part in his first training camp with the Philadelphia 76ers this week, marking the NBA superstar’s inaugural on‑court sessions with the franchise.
During the camp, coaches introduced a series of on‑court schemes that featured James alongside the existing roster, allowing the new addition to familiarize himself with the team’s offensive and defensive concepts.
Following the practice sessions, the squad gathered for a private team dinner, providing an informal setting for players and staff to build chemistry off the hardwood.
In an unusual moment described by observers as an “attempt at divine intervention,” the camp included a brief ritual or prayer aimed at seeking good fortune for the upcoming season.
Training camp serves as a critical period for integrating new talent, and James’s presence adds a high‑profile element to the 76ers’ preparations as they look to improve on last season’s performance.
