Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has dismissed speculation about his future at the club as “ridiculous” after a week of poor results.
The former midfielder, who took over the Red Devils in 2024, said the talk was unfounded amid a run of three disappointing league games that left the team struggling to find form.
Speaking to the press, Carrick stressed his commitment to the club and rejected any rumours that he might step down or be replaced.
“Thinking about my future after three bad games is ridiculous,” he said.
United’s recent performances have raised questions among fans and analysts, but the manager remains confident that the team can recover and return to its usual competitive level.
