Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is reportedly set to retain his position for the club's upcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea, according to recent reports. The decision comes despite a recent period of poor results for the Red Devils, which had raised questions about the stability of the managerial role.
The source material indicates that Carrick will remain in charge for the match, suggesting that the club's hierarchy has opted to maintain continuity rather than make an immediate change in leadership.
While the specific details of the "poor run of form" are not elaborated upon in the provided text, the context implies that recent performances have been below expectations, prompting scrutiny of the current management setup.
The upcoming clash against Chelsea is expected to be a significant test for Carrick and his squad, as they look to turn their fortunes around in the Premier League.
