From the Kondengui detention centre, Djeukam Tchameni has publicly responded to the ministry of territorial administration’s decision to suspend the FSNC for an unspecified period.
According to the announcement, the FSNC was suspended by the ministry for a duration that has not yet been disclosed. The suspension was issued as part of a broader administrative review.
In his statement, Tchameni described the move as “a coup d’épée dans l’eau,” suggesting that he believes the suspension will have little practical effect on the organisation’s activities.
He remains in custody at Kondengui, where he has been detained for the duration of the ongoing administrative proceedings.
