Logos Olori, a singer and signee with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), has stated that his label boss, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, creates music primarily for enjoyment rather than financial gain.
In a recent episode of the Wahala Podcast, Olori expressed deep admiration for Davido’s dedication to his craft. He noted that despite Davido’s wealthy background, the artist maintains a work ethic that resembles someone without financial security.
“Davido works like he doesn’t have money. I feel like the competition drives him. He is very passionate. I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun,” Olori said. He added that the competitive nature of the music industry serves as a significant motivator for Davido to work harder.
Olori also detailed the circumstances of his signing with the label, revealing that Davido brought him on board after Olori wrote the hit song “Unavailable” for him.
Prior to moving to Nigeria to pursue his music career full-time, Olori noted that he was living comfortably in Dubai.
