Consolidated Hallmark Insurance and CHI Life Assurance have jointly called for stronger collaboration with insurance brokers in order to accelerate the growth of Nigeria’s insurance sector.
The two insurers said that closer ties with brokers would help expand distribution, improve customer access to products and drive greater uptake of insurance coverage across the country.
“By working more closely with brokers, we can reach a wider audience and help more Nigerians protect their families and businesses,” the companies added, underscoring the role brokers play in bridging the gap between insurers and potential policyholders.
Nigeria’s insurance market remains one of the most under‑penetrated in Africa, with coverage rates far below the continent’s average. The call for deeper broker partnerships comes at a time when industry analysts point to significant growth potential as the population’s income levels rise and regulatory reforms continue to open the market.
Both Consolidated Hallmark and CHI Life Assurance hope that enhanced broker relationships will not only boost sales but also improve the overall quality of service offered to customers, thereby strengthening the sector’s long‑term resilience.
