Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State, Venatius Ikem, expressed concerns over the low visibility of the party's presidential candidate, Professor Sandy Onor, in the run-up to the 2027 general elections.

"In my mind, looking at myself and the direction we are going, seeing that we have been told that we have a presidential candidate who is neither seen nor heard," Ikem said on Arise Television's Morning Show on Thursday.

Professor Sandy Onor is the PDP's presidential candidate, but as Ikem pointed out, he has not been visible in carrying out any activities.

"My friend Professor Sandy Onor is the presidential candidate of the party but as you know, he's not been visible anywhere to carry out any activities," Ikem said.

The former PDP chairman voiced his concerns about the party's lack of direction, particularly regarding the presentation of their presidential candidate to the Nigerian public.

"We are just floating, so to speak, in this state," Ikem added.
