Poland’s under‑17 women’s squad will open their 2026 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup campaign against Nigeria’s Flamingos in Rabat, Morocco, on Saturday. The match will be played at the Mohammed V1 Football Complex Pitch 4.
Poland’s head coach, Paulina Kawalec, has said she wants the Poles to start the tournament on a winning note. “Opening games at big tournaments are always of huge importance. In our group, the game against Nigeria could be particularly important and have a major influence on how the rest of the tournament unfolds,” Kawalec told FIFA.
Group B also contains the defending champions from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Puerto Rico, giving Poland a mixed set of opponents in their opening round.

The encounter will kick off at 7 pm Nigeria time, with the Polish side hoping to secure a positive start against Akeem Busari’s Flamingos.
