- Hailing from the Etung Local Government Area of Cross River State, AIG Ewah was born on July 28, 1968.
- He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science.
- The seasoned officer has served in various capacities, including Assistant Inspector-General of Police: Zone 15, Maiduguri; Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command; and Deputy Commandant, Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
- AIG Ewah has undergone numerous professional, tactical, and executive leadership courses, including the Advanced Detective Course (ADC) and the Special Protection Unit (SPU) course.
