Napoli endured a nightmarish evening on the turf of FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League, with Cameroonian midfielder Zambo Anguissa among those left to contemplate a disappointing performance.
The Italian side travelled to Estádio do Dragão in Porto for a group‑stage encounter, facing the Portuguese club on foreign soil.
Napoli were unable to secure a positive result, suffering a defeat that deepened the pressure on their European campaign.
Zambo Anguissa, who joined Napoli earlier in the season, featured in the match and was part of the collective effort that fell short of expectations.
Both clubs entered the game with ambitions: Napoli seeking to advance beyond the group stage, while Porto, a regular fixture in European competition, aimed to consolidate their standing.
The loss leaves Napoli with a challenging task in the remaining group fixtures as they strive to recover points and keep their Champions League hopes alive.
