Swiss national team captain Granit Xhaka is currently under investigation by authorities over an issue with his Covid‑19 vaccination certificate.
Xhaka, who plays for Arsenal in the English Premier League and has led the Swiss side in recent international fixtures, has been called in for questioning regarding the authenticity of the vaccination record he presented.
The investigation focuses on whether the certificate was correctly issued and whether it meets the requirements set by Swiss health and sports authorities for international travel and competition.
