On Saturday, 26 September 2026, Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium became the venue for the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference, with Nigerian pastor Jerry Eze leading worshippers in a day of prayer, worship and fellowship.
The gathering was organised by Eze’s Streams of Joy International and was offered free of charge. Because the stadium’s 74,000‑seat capacity could not accommodate all interested participants, organisers required attendees to register in advance.
Interest in the event surged in the days leading up to the conference. Social‑media users reported that available spaces were quickly taken and some turned to TikTok in an effort to locate spare tickets.
Several prominent Nigerian gospel ministers joined Eze on the programme, including Sunmisola Agbebi, Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan and the group Kaestrings.
With the English football league on a short break for international matches, the iconic football ground was transformed into a setting for Christian worship, illustrating the stadium’s versatility beyond sport.
