Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State; his Abia State counterpart, Dr Alex Otti; former governor of Imo State, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha; and Minister of Art, Culture and Tourism, Hannatu Musa Musawa, are among the dignitaries expected to attend the Iri-ji Mbaise national cultural festival on Saturday, August 15.
Holding at Oke Ovoro Secondary School, Uvuru, Oke Ovoro, Mbaise, Imo State, the festival, scheduled for 11am, will be chaired by Okenze Felix Amadi, with Joe Ogbonna Anosike serving as Chief Host.
According to the organisers, the event is aimed at promoting the cultural heritage and unity of the Mbaise people.
